CJ White Associates Ltd

C J White Associates have negotiated a surrender of the fish and chip and retail unit on behalf of the landlord, C.H.S. (Amusements) Ltd forming part of the CHS Family Entertainment Centre. The landlord plans to refurbish the units and incorporate the space into the FEC.

Relocation of The Big Apple FEC in Woking, Surrey. Lease Negotiations by  CJ White Associates Ltd

CJ White Associates acted for South of England Leisure Ltd who are a national tenpin bowling and FEC operator to secure a new 15 year lease of the Red Car Park Site, Woking subject to completion of the purpose built development with car park above which is underway to house the relocation of the Big Apple, Woking.  We negotiated the new lease with Victoria Square Woking Limited who are investing in the town centre retail offering. The FEC is due to open in late 2021.

Halls Arcade, Trunch Lane located in Chapel St Leonards, Skegness sold by  CJ White Associates Ltd

C J White Associates have successfully sold yet another  Family Entertainment Centre which was purchased by an independent operator off an asking price of £950,000.

241 Liverpool Road, Eccles, Manchester M30 0QN sold to Boyle Sports (UK) Ltd by  CJ White Associates Ltd.

62 Market Street, Stalybridge, SK15 2AB sold to Boyle Sports (UK) Ltd by  CJ White Associates Ltd.

Unit B, Jubilee Leisure Park, North Promenade, Thornton-Cleveleys, FY5 1DB, leased to JD Gyms by  CJ White Associates Ltd.

C J White Associates Ltd, successfully marketed this leisure space located on the Jubilee Leisure Park in the suburbs of Blackpool and secured a letting to JD Gyms which will be their 25th site in their portfolio opening later this year.   The property extends to approximately 1,852 (19,935 sq ft) sq ft gross internal area on ground and mezzanine floors and is located adjacent to the Vue cinema.  The premises were let close to the asking rent of £95,000 pa.”

34-38 Seaside Road, located in Eastbourne, sold to Luxury Leisure Ltd a subsidary of Novomatic Group by  CJ White Associates Ltd.

CJ White Associates Ltd successfully acquired Hounslow Heath Golf Club for Hobbledown (Hounslow) Ltd.

We have successfully acquired for Hobbledown (Hounslow) Ltd a long leasehold interest in this golf course site which has planning consent to develop an indoor and outdoor children’s play centre which will be known as Hobbledown Heath (http://hobblersheath.com/) to add to the existing and very successful Hobbledown in Epsom.  This client also operates Kidspace indoor children’s soft play in Croydon and Romford.  The company will be investing in the order of £11m to develop out the scheme which secured planning consent in 2017. 

CJ White Associates Ltd secures a new site for Stanhope House Leisure Ltd for the development of a 10 pin bowling centre in Altrincham.

CJ White Associates have successfully negotiated a lease of this site for  Stanhope House Leisure Ltd who have been looking to add to their existing 10 pin bowling centres in Mansfield and Chesterfield.

CJ White Associates Ltd secures a new site for Club 3000 for the development of a bingo club in Blackpool.

CJ White Associates have successfully negotiated a lease of this site for  Bingo 3000 who have identified demand for a new purpose-built bingo facility in Blackpool. Investment will be circa £4m and will include the employment of a large number of new staff. 

CJ White Associates Ltd successfully acquired Bishop Stortford Bowl, under a new lease for Fraser Capital Investments Ltd.

CJ White Associates have successfully acquired this 15,729sft bowling centre on a new lease for Fraser Capital Investments Ltd who also operate the Bacchus wine bar in the scheme.  Investment will be circa £1m and they are a new operator into the sector interested in securing further sites nationally.  

CJ White Associates Ltd have negotiated the surrender and re grant of a new lease for Bacchus Bar, Bishop Stortford.

We have negotiated the surrender and re grant of a new 18-year lease for this existing quality venue for Breeze Bars Ltd which will facilitate further investment into the late-night venue.  Bacchus is the premier night spot in the whole of East Herts. Opened in June 2011. Bacchus has gone on to establish itself as the place to be and be seen in and the home of live sport in Bishops Stortford.

Adventure Leisure Ltd Announces deal to develop 7th adventure golf venue in Tonbridge, Kent, lease negotiated by CJ White Associates Ltd

CJ White Associates acting for Adventure Leisure Ltd (ALL), a subsidiary of Burhill Group Ltd owned by the Guinness family, has secured a new 10-year lease of approximately 2,000 sq m of land located at Tonbridge Golf Centre, Kent. where ALL will develop their 7th Mr Mulligan's 18-hole adventure golf course. It is due to open in spring 2017 in time for the summer season and will complement the existing driving range and par 3 golf course.

Carrefour Health & Beauty, Norwich,

sold to Bannatyne Group, by CJ White Associates Ltd.

Specialist leisure agency C J White Associates Ltd on behalf of GDEZ Property Ltd has secured the sale of this modern full service health club to Bannatyne Group, one of the leading operators in the sector. It was sold within two months of being offered to the market.

Fantasy Island, located in Ingoldmells, sold to the landlord, Mellor Group, by CJ White Associates Ltd.

Specialist leisure agency, C J White Associates Ltd, managed the marketing of this business which was purchased by Mellor Group off an asking price of £1.5 million.

Horsham Superbowl  located in Surrey sold to Horsham District Council by CJ White Associates Ltd.

Specialist leisure agency, C J White Associates Ltd, has negotiated the surrender of American Amusements Ltd. head lease for a substantial premium to the landlord, Horsham District Council.

Colin White, Director of C J White Associates Ltd, who acted on behalf of the tenant American Amusements Ltd comments, “We are delighted that we have been able to negotiate the surrender of our clients interest in what is the second transaction we have completed for American Amusements Ltd. in 2016.”

The Flamingo Family Entertainment Centre and Flamingo Amusement Park located in Hastings sold to Luxury Leisure Ltd, a subsidiary of Novomatic Group by CJ White Associates Ltd.

Specialist leisure agency C J White Associates Ltd has secured the sale of this prime FEC and amusement park to Luxury Leisure, a leading operator in the sector who acquired the Noble portfolio in 2014. The business was sold with the benefit of a new lease and a sublease of the adjoining property to Flamingo Park Limited.

Colin White who acted on behalf of the vendor, Stade Developments (Hastings) Ltd comments, “We are delighted that we have been able to secure the sale of this prime FEC in Hastings to one of the leading group operators in the sector. We are now urgently seeking FEC opportunities for our client to reinvest in the south west.”

Family Entertainment Centre acquired for Praesepe Plc  by CJ White Associates Ltd.

C J White Associates Ltd has secured the acquistion of this property for Praesepe Plc which has subsequently been fitted out as an FEC. lt is located in a prime location in Largs, Scotland.  

 

This site was refurbished in just over three weeks and is the second FEC opening for Praesepe in two months.
 

C J White Associates Ltd relocates Wokingham Superbowl for American Amusements Ltd.

CJ White Associates acted for American Amusements Ltd who are a national tenpin bowling and FEC operator to secure a new 40 year lease of a purpose built building to house the relocation of Wokingham Superbowl. We negotiated the new lease with Wokingham Borough Council which forms part of the Carnival Pool regeneration scheme. The site will also see a new town centre 529 space car park developed alongside the existing Carnival Pool Leosure Centre and Burger King.

"Xpect" Health and Fitness Club in Braintree acquired for Bannatyne Fitness Ltd by CJ White Associates Ltd.

C J White Associates are proud to announce another successful transaction and has acquired the “Xpect” Health and Fitness Club in Braintree, with about 2,400 members for Bannatyne Fitness Ltd, off an asking price of £2.85m.  The freehold club which opened in 2003 is a full service club with pool, café , spa, steam, sauna, crèche, spinning and aerobics studios and large CV and resistance/free weights gyms arranged over about 20,000 sq ft on a 3.4 acre site with car parking.  Further details attached.
