Colin White qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1989 and has advised the leisure sector for over 30 years. He was a partner of ES Group Ltd where he set up and led the Leisure Consultancy Team in London for many years.

In 2014 he set up C J White Associates as a specialist leisure consultancy to primarily advise clients on transactions of all types. These include going concerns, property, and rental negotiations across a range of leisure sectors.
Clients he has advised include leisure operators, banks and accountants including, Bannatyne, Praesepe, Kidspace, Bandia Namco, Club 3000, City Gaming, Adventure Leisure, Stade Developments, American Amusements, Fitness4Less, HSBC, Nirvana Spa, Fitness First, Grant Thornton, RBS, PWC, Golds Gyms and Tamworth Snowdome.
